Our history
Tearaway Travel was established in 1999 by Jonathan Baird and Greg Adkins to provide quality travel services to our communities.

We are an unique boutique International Travel Agency providing a quality level of service where clients will “ Enjoy the Difference”.  Travel Insurance & Domestic airfare assistance is also available.

Jonathan Baird, Agency Manager & Senior Travel Creator has over 10 years travel industry experience in New Zealand and Australia.  His extensive knowledge and experience of how clients deserve to be treated is paramount to the many successful journeys Tearaway clients have undertaken.  Jonathan is acutely aware of the limited compassion and understanding some carriers and countries can provide, and is delighted to ensure Tearaway travellers have a wonderful and exciting time when planning their travel experiences. This is a tremendous benefit to all of our communities.

Jonathan is assisted on our Domestic Reservation team by Guy Kharn who joined Tearaway during 2004 and comes with extensive experience in Customer Service.  Guy has been a great addition to the team.

Stephen Mattsson has just joined the Tearaway team and comes to us with extensive group, international and domestic travel experience and has worked with GLOBE Inc and the Midsumma Festival for years.  Welcome Stephen!
